About

The national March for Science in Washington, D.C., along with hundreds of satellite marches around the world, will advocate for public access to empirical, evidence-based science and for lawmakers to consider this evidence when creating policies.

The rally and march in Greensboro will include short speeches from local scientists who work at North Carolina A & T, UNC Greensboro, and other local education and scientific organizations. If you are a scientist who is interesting in speaking, please contact us! The event will also feature performances from local bands Disaster Recovery Band and Viva La Muerte, a presentation by Sage Advice for the Kid Revolution, and other special music.

Stop by our GoFundMe page to help cover costs of the march. Should any funds be left over they will go towards sending deserving local children to science camp in the area.

PARKING: The Greene Street parking deck is across the street from Government Plaza, where the event will begin and end. Parking is free on weekends. For more information see the Greensboro Parking FAQ.
